So after some days of high life, pure chaos and some pretty exhausting commissions.. i’m back in my wordpress to finally post the photos from Las Vegas.

One thing i want to say is that i didn’t have much time and power left to take good photos in LV because i was there for a commission in the first place. I was shooting for two magazines almost every day for 5-7 hours and the heat also is challenging at first.

I’m not posting any of the work i did for the magazine because it would be way too much and is not of my primary interest.

I’m starting with a selection of black and white photos from the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event.

All i know is that i will go to Vegas next year and will be prepared to take some good photos. Now this is what i still got for you, i hope it’s any enjoyable !

  1. Great entry, too many great shots to start listing the ones I really like :)

  3. The sun went down and came up again while I read this blog! I think. I’m actually in a cardroom in London reading this after being busted from a tournament.

My favourite shot is of the woman eating food in the food hall. Awesome stuff

  4. I wrote a pile of stuff here and my comp decided to submit the comment before I was finished, and it didn’t even post all of it.

Anyway Vegas is a very weird place – we met a guy in a small Cafe at 4am and he showed us pics on his cam – they hired a prostitue and took pics of them hosing her down by a pool while she was naked… madness. Prostitutes often walk through the casinos approaching people; the dealers tend to recognise most of them. I’m surprised you walked outside so much – we got taxis everywhere. That said we didn’t leave the strip apart from the go to Fremont St.

    Did you see any shows?

  9. I never said I was photogenic. ha!

Great stuff as always. I’ll be doing a tour of Europe in Spring of 2010. Hopefully we can meet up for a Vodka Lemon. :)

Anyway, it was cool to meet you and sorry about dragging you to see Harry Potter. That was a waste of time and money. :P

  12. I like this blog, I rarely have the chance to see so huge coverage of subject. The fact that you’re not american give you freedom and obviously you have devotion and patience.

I would explore more your blog. I remember you were good with architecture, but you do a good job with documenting event.

  14. awesome photos as usual. The drunk photos are the best haha. Sounds like you had a good time. Im curious though, do you just point your camera at anyone in the street and shoot? Do ppl get pissed off at you? Or are they happy to be on camera, even the fat ones…?
