  2. It’s always like traveling with you.
It’s years I follow your blogs and I think I wrote maybe just two or three comments, but I’ve always enjoyed the photographs.
Take care and keep bringing the cameras with you.

  7. Hey, great photos. I really like those from the trip – they are quite different from those usual street photos – probably mostly because the exotic (for us) subject, but also probably because of the people’s character and behaviour.
As always – I really like the way you ‘tell a story’ with B&W photos.

  10. Hi Severin,

i’ve been following you for a while and I love your style. I like it because you do it in such a intimate way! You don’t post just street photographs but also anecdotes and hotel pictures.

I find it also really interesting how your style varies depending on the camera you use. I think your medium format shot have almost a Zen feeling to them. Just calm and quite, while your other shots are booming with life and action.

    Thanks for sharing!

  11. Thanks for sharing your journey! After 2 hours of enjoying your African pictures I feel I really got to actually know something about (a small part, sorta an illusion too) of this continent. And thank God it isn’t another bunch of journalistic-jaw-dropping-work-of-art pictures from a world impress photo or some international geographic contest/agency of easy-eating cakes! I love your photographic African attitude, the pictures are so interesting! Many of them also amusing and thought-provoking. And I adore that every photo is a story and never just a smooth composition for the hamburger and sushi enthusiasts. And I read all your comments (this time) as well! ;)

Erstklassige Fotografie.
