  2. Great post as usual. How do you like the Hexar compared to the Leica?

  3. Just came a-checking and there was this little post-Easter present. Just looking through this post filled me with serenity. Loved the rehearsal shots and the rain shots.
    Keep it up, Sev!

Most of the time the 80% solution is the best choice.

  8. Thumbs up! Once again I am impressed by your analog-skills. If you would write a book about your analog-to-digital-workflow, I would buy it.

  10. Wow, tolle Aufnahmen. Beeindruckend, wie du es immer schaffst, scheinbar fremde Menschen als das zu zeigen, was sie eigentlich sind. Freunde, rund um die Welt. Gfoidma.

  14. The two posts about Rwanda look to me as your strongest set so far. I feel an atmosphere of impending tragedy, and I can’t tell whether it’s because we all know what happened there just a few years ago, or because the consequences of those deeds are still actually present in everybody’s life down there, starting from soldiers and policemen in the streets: but the contrast between the daily activities in the pictures and this atmosphere make these photographs special.
You wrote that it wasn’t easy for you to take street shots there, for many understandable reasons: but I suspect it may have been harder, after that trip, coming back and shooting in the streets of the western big cities.

  15. Great post, some pictures are very strong. All are interesting because it is not a well-known area, but you’ve caught brilliant images, and the composition is there

In this second post it feel like you are more confident, in the previous post you were talking about the difficulty to take picture in this country where the single fact to be a white man is not easy because everybody’s looking at you.
I hope you could find the time to tell us about. If it is the fact that you’ll get use to it or you try to don’t even think and shoot.

by the way well done, and I can’t wait the next post!
    Thank you!
